Après (“we”) is a live music diary operated by [YOUR LEGAL NAME OR COMPANY]. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account. Your email address and sign-in details, handled by our sign-in provider, Clerk.
- Profile. Your username, display name, bio, favorite artists and avatar choice.
- Date of birth. Used only to confirm you’re 18 or over. It isn’t shown to anyone and can’t be changed after you enter it.
- Your nights. The shows you log, with any ratings, notes and photos you add, plus shows you save for later.
- Social activity. Friends and friend requests, reactions and replies, people you’ve passed or said hi to in Discover, and blocks and reports you make.
- Ticketmaster imports. If you paste order details to import past shows, we use them to find those shows and log them to your archive.
- Location (optional). If you allow it, your device turns your location into a city name to suggest nearby shows. We don’t store your precise location.
- Waitlist. If you join the waitlist on this site, your email address.
How we use it
To run Après: to keep your archive, show you who was at the same nights, connect you with friends, award badges and records, keep the community safe, and contact you about your account. We don’t sell your information and we don’t show ads.
Who can see what
Your profile and the nights you log can be seen by other Après members, including people who logged the same show. People you block can’t see you. Reports are seen only by our moderators.
Service providers
We use trusted providers to run the service: Clerk (sign-in), Render (hosting), our database provider, and setlist.fm and Ticketmaster (show information; we send them search terms like artist names and cities). They process data only to provide their services to us.
Your choices
You can edit your profile at any time, and delete your account from the app’s profile screen. Deleting your account removes your profile, nights and activity. To ask about your data, email support@apresgroove.com.
Age
Après is only for people 18 and over. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone younger.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date above and, for significant changes, let you know in the app.
